There will be two papers in HPAS (Pre.)

1.    Paper 1   General Studies 200 Marks 100 Objective Questions

Syllabus :-        

·        General Science

·        History, Geography, Art and Culture and Socio Economic Development of Himachal Pradesh, political, History of India and Indian National Movement

·        Current Events of National and; International Importance

·        India and World Geography

·        Economic and Socio development - sustainable development and poverty, Inclusion, demographic, social sector development

·        General Issue on environmental ecology, biodiversity and climate change

      

2.  Paper 2 CSAT 200 Marks 100 Objective Questions

Syllabus:-

·        Interpersonal Skills including communication skills

·        Comprehension

·        Logical reasoning and Analytical Ability

·        Decision Making and Problem Solving

·        General Mental Ability

·        Basic Numeracy (Numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude etc. - Class X level ) Data Interpretation (Charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc.-  Class X level)

·        English Language comprehension Skills(Class X level )

            Ex-servicemen of HP ( Relieved after completion of Normal Tenure ) / Blind :- Nil

Female candidate shall be exempted from examination fee.  

Qualification:- Candidate should possess Bachelor’s  degree from recognized  university.

Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission's  Addendum 1st -April-2016

 It is notified for  all the HPAS aspirants that 01 post (Gen.) of District Panchayat Officer (Class -I Gazetted ) 

will also be filled up on the basis of Himachal Prades Administrative- 2015. This post is in the pay scale of 

15600-39100/+5400 grade pay in the Department of Panchayati Raj.Now  total posts of HPSCCE-2015

becomes 30 . All other terms and conditions are remains same.

It is notified for  all the HPAS aspirants that 2 posts of T.O.(Treasury Officers) (Class -I Gazetted ) are added in HPSCC -2015. These posts are in the pay scale of 15600-39100/+5400 grade pay in the Department of Finance (Treasuries, Accounts & Lotteries). One post is reserved for General and One post is reserved for SC.. Now  total posts of HPSCC-2015 becomes 29 . All other terms and conditions are remains same.
